I am Laura Notari, a contemporary artist whose work seeks to bridge the worlds of creativity, sustainability, and social empowerment. Painting is my way of processing life, expressing emotions, and reflecting on the complex interplay between humanity and nature. Through bold brushstrokes, vibrant colors, and textured layers incorporating materials like acrylics, inks, textures, fabrics, embroidery, and sustainable elements, I strive to create art that resonates deeply with the viewer.
Born and raised in Argentina with Spanish roots, my artistic journey has been shaped by the diverse cultures and social struggles I’ve encountered around the world. These experiences have fueled my commitment to using art as a tool for promoting sustainability and gender equality.
In my studio in Hilversum, Netherlands, I channel my inquisitive and passionate spirit into abstract works that balance dynamic motion and intentional design. Inspired by the expressive elements of nature and great artists like Joan Miró, Wassily Kandinsky, and Jackson Pollock, my creations combine elements of abstraction and impressionism to tell stories of personal growth, resilience, and transformation.
I also believe in the transformative power of art to uplift others. Through the Laura Notari Art Foundation, I empower disadvantaged children to unlock their creative potential, using art to inspire a brighter future.
Each piece I create is both a reflection of my past and a preview of my future. If my work encourages a moment of reflection or connection, then I know I’ve succeeded in leaving a lasting impression.
